 Jomsom Muktinath Trek follows the trial in the Annapurna Region. Muktinath (3802m.) is a sacred pilgrimage site where both Hindus and Buddhists worship. Muktinath has been a pilgrimage site since 330 BC. Jomsom has a natural spring and a flame of natural gas that seems to burn on water. The primordial guardian of the region was the sacred mountain Dhaulagiri and its snowy white bulk dominates much of the trek. The Gandaki Gorge is considered the deepest in the world. Jomsom (2713 m.) is the main headquarters of Mustang district. This short trek immediately north of Pokhara is an ideal trek with a diversity of culture and beautiful panoramic views of the Himalaya. Passing through picturesque villages, monasteries, Chorten, prayer flags and Mani walls, one gets to encounter Sherpa culture at its primitive best.

Itinerary - Jomsom Muktinath Trek
Day 01: Kathmandu to Pokhara, drive by Car about 5hrs and stay over night at Hotel in pokhara.
Day 02: Pokhara to Jomsom by flight and trek to Kagbeni, which takes about 3hrs and overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Trekking from Kagbani to Muktinath and overnight in hotel.
Day 04: Hiking from Muktinath to Thorong Phedi and returning to Muktinath and overnight at Hotel.
Day 05: Trek to Jomsom and overnight at Hotel.
Day 06: Jomsom to Pokhara by aeroplane, fly back to Kathmandu.
