Pisang Peak, located on the way to world’s highest pass, is most popular among the trekking peaks in Annapurna region. Although taken as an easy among other trekking peaks, is sometime described difficult by some climbers. Naturally as a climber you should have a good walking and climbing habit beside courage. The peak is guarded by a hanging glacier to the west face which is considerablely challenging. Pisang peak ascends from the yak kharkas up to its summit. While descending, you have to retrace the the route.

Annapurna circuit is popular classic trek and generally cited as one of the beautiful places of the world one should visit in lifetime. Trekkers wishing to go Annapurna circuit and with little mountaineering experience can combine Pisang peak to have climbing taste. Pisang peak rises with uniform ice slopes above the Pisang village and yak pastures. The final summit of the peak is observed covered by snow throughout the year. The peak is considered one of the technical climbing peaks among the trekking peaks of Nepal
